Power System Solutions is a member of The Engineering Alliance Consulting Group. The alliance is comprised of a unique team of "Best-In-Practice" multi-disciplined professional engineering firms with offices in Redding, Connecticut and Carefree, Arizona. Our group provides in-house Electrical Design, Power System Analysis, Commissioning, Integration, Preventative Maintenance, Infrastructure Management, Capacity Planning, Electrical Forensic Analysis, and Fire Investigation services for Mission-Critical, Utility, Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, Educational, Museum, Historical, Corporate/Government markets and private clients.
Our engineering staff is comprised of licensed professionals with experience in small to large-scale renovation and new construction projects. Each staff member utilizes the latest technology and software to insure a quality, timely and cost effective end product.
EXPERIENCE
Ralph S. Catalano, P.E., established the firm in 1999 and has over 33-years of electrical engineering, testing, preventative maintenance, infrastructure management, electrical forensic, and construction experience. The managing principal is a multi-licensed Professional Engineer and holds certifications issued by the Association of Energy Engineers, Academy of Infrared Thermography, and National Association of Fire Investigators.
DESIGN TEAM
Each project team is directed by a Principal Engineer that performs design, commissioning, integration, and management of "in-house" document production. The Principal Engineer serves as the client's contact from project inception through completion. The dedication and involvement of our principal engineering staff separates Power System Solutions from traditional design firms.
ELECTRICAL FORENSIC/FIRE INVESTIGATION
Electrical Forensic and Fire Investigation services are performed by a Principal Licensed Electrical Engineer. The Principal Engineer conducts fire scene inspections, evidence collection, laboratory examinations, electrical causation analysis, origin & cause review and litigation support. Report production, deposition and trial testimony are also perform by the Principal Engineer.
